For other provinces and territories, there is no second wave yet, but food businesses are wary of the possibility of reinstated restrictions and another shutdown. Here is what food business can do in order to navigate these tough times whether they are currently in a second wave of COVID-19 or preparing for one.

Whether you are a food business that is operating within a second wave or not, it is important to remember how to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is key to keeping staff safe within the premises as well as customers who may be dining indoors, outdoors or simply picking up a take-out order. Remember hand hygiene

Following hand hygiene protocols is a top priority for food businesses.
