Who checks for Food Safety Plans in a food business?

Health Officers will check a food business' Food Safety Plan when performing an audit of the business. They will review the Food Safety Program and the records you keep as part of your Food Safety Program. Food businesses can face fines or punishment if they are found to not have a Food Safety Plan or Food Safety Program in place.
